Practical guidance
Clear guidelines for implementing wireless power transfer.
Enabling wireless transfer of knowledge and energy
The project
Wireless power transfer, or DEO: Draadloze EnergieOverdracht, eliminates the need for physical connectors. It can improve durability, support automation and increase safety in demanding industrial environments.
However, adoption remains challenging for many small and medium-sized enterprises, which often lack the resources and expertise needed to implement this technology.
TETRA DEO addresses this gap by transferring knowledge to Flemish industry. In cooperation with innovative Flemish companies, the project develops accessible, practice-oriented tools and expertise for implementing wireless energy transfer.
For companies

Project approach
A low-power demonstrator validates wireless power transfer concepts in practical and accessible applications.
Explore the low-power demonstratorA high-power demonstrator investigates the technical challenges of wireless energy transfer under more demanding conditions.
Explore the high-power demonstratorAn accessible knowledge base provides clear, practice-oriented guidance for companies implementing wireless power transfer.
Explore the knowledge baseThese objectives are addressed in close cooperation with the advisory committee. The project supports interaction between companies, researchers and students, enabling project results to be applied throughout Flemish industry.
